We are excited to extend an invitation to join us for our inaugural Black Futures: Connecting to Community event at U of T St. George. This Tri-Campus event will provide the perfect opportunity for you to learn about opportunities for black youth across all three campuses, connect with the University of Toronto community and share your thoughts and opinions with us.

Programme

  • 8:30am – Registration & Refreshments
  • 9:00am – Welcome & Keynote – Keynote address from Prof. Janelle Joseph on Academic Success and Equity in Post-Secondary Education
  • 9:45am – U of T Presentation
  • 10:30am – Breakout Sessions – Hear from Student Life, Alternative Pathways to U of T and Recruitment & Outreach Initiatives from U of T Mississauga, U of T Scarborough, and U of T St. George
  • 11:30am – Lunch & Fair – Your opportunity to get information from U of T's undergraduate faculties
  • 12:30pm – Faculty of Medicine – Learn about the breadth of programming being offered to black students from high school through to professional studies in the Faculty of Medicine
  • 1:15pm – Group Discussion
  • 2:15pm – Closing Session
