First-Year Learning Communities (FLC) Registration

A First-Year Learning Community (FLC) is a small group of first-year students who are registered in several of the same courses, labs and tutorials. FLC sessions begin during the second week of classes and then run weekly. The sessions include academic, developmental and social activities facilitated by upper-year students.

All incoming Arts & Science students can apply to join a FLC. If you are interested in joining a FLC, please complete the following registration form. FLC applications for the 2025/2026 academic year close at 12 p.m., July 2, 2025. Please email us at FLC@utoronto.ca if you have any questions.

The First-Year Learning Communities program aims to connect Arts and Science students with peers to build connections and support their academic success.
